Paramount’s logo is known for it’s animation of the moving stars that circle the mountain and company name. The colours used within the logo have connotations of peace and calm. This contrasts greatly to the logos of other production companies such as Blumhouse, who use dark colours with connotations of horror, representing the genres they are associated with. As these colours are used for the mountain and the sky in the Paramount logo, it gives a sense of realism despite being animated, ultimately relating to the style of their movies. This is different from an actual animated film associated with a company like Disney, who have a clearly animated logo. The word “Paramount” is positioned in the middle third of the logo where it is the clear focal point, aided by the white writing on top of the blue background, making it stand out.
